Rob believes that in today’s rapidly changing and challenging Automotive industry there is no place for complacency. Each new model of vehicle is more technical and complex than the last. You must stay up to date. Rob participates regularly in training here and overseas and sources the latest specialised equipment available to stay at the forefront of the latest technology.
Rob is a car lover generally, and has owned a mixed and varied lot over the years, but as you would expect has a particular spot in his heart for BMW & MINI. He bought his first BMW in 1982, a 1973 3.0Si and he still it owns today! Another favourite is his E34 M5.
He is a keen participant in Classic and Targa rally’s, competing in a 1972 BMW 2002. He also participates in super sprint events in a MINI R53. This same car is also driven by his son in super sprint, race and endurance events. They, together with some other BMW loving friends have also competed in the charity event “LeMons” (pronounced Lemons) in anE46 3 series.
We are proud to say that Noel has worked with us here at BEE-EMS for 24+ years. A longevity in a job not often seen these days! He is a very valued and important member of our team, greatly respected by us and our clients.
He is our resident dry witted Irishman and his sense of humour does leave some people puzzled at times! Noel moved here in the 1980’s and brought with him experience of UK and European models. He had been very involved in rallying in Europe & Ireland, developing and building competition cars.
Noel loves his soccer and is Manchester United fan and is also a keen photographer.
Noel has owned and driven many different BMWs but his favourite BMW model is the E30 M3.

Lachlan is Rob’s son & has been a familiar figure around the workshop all his life. Cars (and particularly motorsport) have always been his passion and we are delighted to have him join us at BEE-EMS.
Lachlan completed his apprenticeship in Melbourne and has spent recent years working specifically in Motorsport. Amongst a large variety of work he has built, prepared & supported cars from Touring Car Masters, Porsche GT3Cup Challenge & GT1, V8 Touring Cars, Radicals, Formula Ford, Super TT & Improved Production. He has also worked with the BMW Team SRM, supporting an M6 in Australian GT category.
When Lachlan isn’t working he enjoys playing AFL & cricket, however it’s fair to say there is a good chance you will find him at a race track somewhere! He participates in BMW Club events, Improved production series, Enduro events & LeMons charity events, both driving and crewing. His current race car project is an E46 M3 – soon to hit the tracks!

Murray completed his automotive apprenticeship in New Zealand and has worked in a variety of workshops both independent & dealer, here & in New Zealand.
He is an NRL follower & Newcastle Knights supporter, but mostly enjoys spending his spare time with family and especially his granddaughter.
His favourite BMWs are the “M”cars, especially the M5 E60 V10 model.
